GFRAS is the Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services (Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services). Its mission is to provide advocacy and leadership for rural advisory services (SCR) pluralistic and based on the demand in the global development agenda. This will lead to the establish-ment of rural advisory services and systems that help reduce hunger and poverty, more appropriately, efficiently and sustainably.

The GFRAS functions are:

  1. Serve as a representative for rural advisory services in discussions on global policies and promote investment to improve rural advisory services;
  2. Support the development and synthesis of approaches and policies based on evidence to improve the efficiency of rural advisory services;
  3. Strengthen the actors and SCR forums facilitating interaction and networking activities
